Welcome 2011 it's our time to shine

2010 was a very stressful, positive,negative,overwhelming, and enjoying year but overall it was a great year for 2010. Now let me welcome my year 2011 year of the Rabbit yes! di nga! awesome! freakin good! wehh! that's my expression when I heard that It's the year of the bugs bunny I was totally amazed and gave me hope taddah! (bulb on my head) A lot of the exploration filled in my head, but the first things that came in my mind is that I will definitely do is VLOGGING and SCREENCASTING (what i usually do) but now this is for real! ayii!!

Facebook Message new feature and a @facebook.com email address

Early this morning when I logged in to my facebook account I was surprised and amazed with a notification that pops onto my profile page, the new feature of facebook the all New message feature that I am waiting for such a long time, last year when I watched the 60 minute with Mark Zuckerburg they introduced this innovation that they said will be released early year of 2011 and finally seeing it in action is really a big WOW! and kudos! to facebook.

and thanks to facebook for making my account one of the early birds to embrace this feature :)

yeah! it's been a while or a year since I updated my blog site, I've been too busy on my career as a web designer and a videographer, so now I'm back blogging I'll definetly share my experiences and things that I have learn for the past few year's well hopefully I can update my blog daily or even weekly.

I Love Digsby

Last Week I've just got Registered on Twitter and unfortunately I thought it was so boring but when i got lot's of updates and I saw my friends are also Twitting I tried and eventually I'm kinda love it.

But there's one problem I have a lot updates and i can't read it all in just a glance i need to go to the site and always refresh the page just to see the replies of my friends then suddenly I saw the app link at the bottom of the page ..

then I take a glance on the different application that I can use on my desktop like a messenger

then I saw the Digsby link, and what a surprise It has all the updates that I want from yahoo messenger to gmail and even my new addiction the TWITTER. what's good in it is you just need to download it on your desktop then install and register to there website for free and import all your accounts that you need updates. hassle free it just POP's up on your screen when you have new updates, so I recommend this application to all people who Need to know there Updates .

1st Instict Magazine of STI Novaliches Special Edition

the First Official Magazine of the STI Novaliches was finally released last Monday March 15 it is composed of a twelve full Colored pages of all the past event and achievements of the school last 2008 til the present with the help of the selected student to contribute on articles we have managed to come up with a great output even though there are some TECHNICAL problem it was really an unforgettable moment for Sir. Don Bautista I will not mention it here because he might get mad at me (lol). and also to my co-editor Mr. Jazper Delacruz it was great experience working with this people.

and syempre special thanks kay sir don for the foods kapag overtime kami hehe..and ang masasabi ko lang ang SARAP magluto ni sir don pinipigilan ko lang talaga sarili ko kc baka maubos ko yung ulam and kanin nila hahah...peace sir don..

STI Novaliches 1st Music Video

After a Week of Brainstorming, Editing and hearing all day this words all day "Si Juville I love my own din yan eh." and "Hello Wazzup this is VJ Pam" we finally completed the retention migration video and also the 1st Music Video of the STI College Novaliches.

It was great fun and laughter editing this video from the start to finish. actually I thought I will not be completed because of all the hassle and problems that we come up with the rendering and convertion it was really a great experience.

that's why last Saturday March 14 at the Britanny Ballrom Hall We were in a hurry to pass the video from the time that it will be played on the wide screen I was really nervous of what will be the audience reaction onto the video and eventually they were so happy watching lalo na yung sa part ng mga faculty actually dun palang ako nakahiga ng maaus it was really appreciating when I here all the audience clap there hands I can't explain what I felt at that time.

Just this evening when I got to check my email I was surprise by this mail from the Google. that they have delivered my Google adsense activation pin, I'm so really excited to be activated and I can't wait to see it, because by the time that I will activate my account I will surely now earn some extra income by blogging..and I can tell to my friends and show a Proof that Google adsense really work.

STI College Held it's annual NYC (National Youth Convetion) at the MOA (Mall of ASIA)

Last Friday at the MOA different students of STI Campuses attended the 14th NYC (National Youth Convention) Every year STI is helding it convention at Aliwan Theater but this year they prefer to change the venue to the SMX convention center at the Mall of Asia.

Lots of Students Attended to this annual Event. and this year's topic is very Interesting its about BLOGGING and we all know that blogging today is really in the mind of every student and people but some of them don't know what's the benefit of blogging, for others it's an alternative way of earning a revenue but for the other's it's just a hobby. but I was really happy that it was topic in this year youth convention but Sad to say that I didn't catch the speaker talking when I got on the Seminar hall. He just Actually Finish discussing. but the two speakers was also great and humorous especially in the part of the topic of the Comfort Room. but the experience was very great hope to attend on the next years NYC.

But hopefully the will be back at the Aliwan Theater at the Star City just an opinion.:)

Google Search Engines Error!?!

Last Saturday When I was looking for a Template for my Blogsite I was annoyed, All of the words that I search Has been detected by google as a harmful Website Even Though the www.download.com.. and Eventually I tried to resolve the problem I thought it's my antivirus that's block all the websites , but when I type the link directly on the Address bar It just worked fine...hmmm...(confused).

but a couple of minutes it just run smooth again..the I found out from the other bloggers that It's was google who had some Human Errors! here is the googles Explanation.

" the URL of '/' was mistakenly checked in as a value to the file and '/' expands to all URLs. Fortunately, our on-call site reliability team found the problem quickly and reverted the file. Since we push these updates in a staggered and rolling fashion, the errors began appearing between 6:27 a.m. and 6:40 a.m. and began disappearing between 7:10 and 7:25 a.m., so the duration of the problem for any particular user was approximately 40 minutes."

Mechanics of the Contest.

1. The contest is open to ALL Members and Students Only. (ITS Officers and officers from other clubs are NOT ALLOWED to join the contest).

2. Contest is Sponsored By TAM’S PRO VIDEO.

3. The contest duration is from November 27 to December 5, 2008.

4. Entries must be in digitized format. Color red and gold must be a used as the dominant color of the logo.

5. Keep it simple as possible. Copyrighted and downloaded images are not allowed.

6. Use the Sponsor’s (TAM’S PRO VIDEO) Company name for your entry.

7. Entries must be in .JPG, .GIF, or .PNG. And the original file used to create the logo (Ex. PSD if Photoshop file). If Photoshop is used, do not flatten the image for future use.

8. All entries must be printed on a legal size bond paper and likewise must be emailed to itsnova@live.com, together with the contestant’s basic information (name/course and section/contact number) and all the files that was used (Ex. PSD format file). A rationale describing the different components of the logo must also be included in the email entry.

9. Logo must have a resolution of 1000 x 1400 pixels or at least 600 dpi with a file extension of jpg.

Is was a one day Event held at University of the Philippines Diliman , Quezon City with the cooperation of the Bluepoint Linux and the Commission on Information & Communications Technology-National Computer Center

the registration started at 9:00 in the morning and we have enter the place before the said time so we had manage to be on the First batch of the attendees because the seminar only expected to have a 150 participant but they had more than 500 attendees so they had to change some of the Venues. but luckily have manage to enter the main hall or room where the speakers will presents their different topic.

it was a good experience because some of the topic there really caught up my attention like, the benefit of the freeware software's , Fedora operating system and the IPv6, like the other seminars they also have different booths were different companies give some of the freebies like software copy of the different freeware software that are available for free, and also lucky draw where you can get some souvenir t-shirts and more..

STI Novaliches Sports Fest 2008

Every Year STI Novaliches is conducting there Annual Sport Fest were every students participate and shows there talents and skills when it comes to sports , last year (2007) they held the sports fest at Brittany Neopolitan and there are 5 teams who competed in the Event and in every team there are different courses assigned, they have there respective color and logo's .

The team colors last year are the "BLUE SHARKS" , "RED DRAGONS" , "YELLOW TIGERS" , "GREEN PYTHONS" , and the "BLACK HAWKS". but these year they didn't include the team of the black hawks because they had difficulties on scheduling the different events because they had 5 teams to assigned in the different events , so this year they just assigned 4 teams , actually the last years champion are the black hawks team and they are compose of the DCET student.

This year is hope to be a Great challenge for every teams because they divided the teams equally, all teams selected there best student for the different events.

the events this year are still the same but they added more spices on it to make it more challenging but still the main events are the basketball, volleyball, badminton, swimming, palarong pinoy, and the extremely challenging amazing Race.

the schedule of the Sports Fest is on October 2 - 4 , 2008 and the venue is still at Brittany Neopolitan Hope this years event will have much more fun and and spices and become more challenging to every student.
